I have published the new version of the User Manual of the Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin v. 3.0.7 for QGIS.



This new documentation illustrates the new functions of the Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin v. 3. Moreover, brief videos showing the tools in action are integrated in the manual.

This post is about a minor update for the Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin for QGIS, version 3.0.7.


Following the changelog:
-fixed bug during classification accuracy
-fixed bug caused by the refresh of training shapefile
-changed default field names of training shapefile for consistency
-small code improvements


This update fixes several issues. In particular, an error that occurred during the refresh of the training shapefile that caused the modification of shapefile values.
Attention: I changed the default names of the training shapefile fields, for consistency. If you need to use a shapefile with old names, simply change the field names in the tab Settings.

New release: Semi-Automatic OS v. 3.0.2


A new version of the Semi-Automatic OS has been released.

The Semi-Automatic OS v. 3.0.2 is a lightweight virtual machine for the land cover classification of remote sensing images. It includes the Semi-Automatic Classification Plugin v. 3.0.2 and QGIS 2.4, already configured along with all the required dependencies (OGR, GDAL, Numpy, SciPy, and Matplotlib).
The main change is that now the Semi-Automatic OS is based on Debian.
